I am happy to share an article from the Miami Herald by George Fishman regarding the Bakehouse Art Complex where I create my work, teach my classes, and meet with my Guild, Fantastic Fibers Miami.

I met George at the Miami edition of World Wide Knit in Public Day which I organized at PAMM back in June. He later visited my studio and interviewed me, photographed some samples of my work, including my Eco-Weaving, shown here. I wove seed pods from a Jamaican Caper bush located on the BAC property (gorgeous, fragrant blossoms in the early summer, intriguing pods later) into the body of the work. The seed pods are woven right in, not added later.
