This work is the first of three mega hand woven panels in my Etheric Blueprint series which took 6 months to design, plan, set up the loom, weave, and finish off loom. Impulsed by the high frequency waves of information streaming from the depths of the cosmos, I transcribed the coded information into visual formats on cloth. Image on the left is a suspended installation in the Audrey Love Gallery in Miami, Florida, with a coded garment in the distance. Adjacent photo show the work in progress on a traditional counterbalance loom. Woven with linen yarns, hand dyed cotton yarns. Size: 45 inches by 20 feet. Price $25,000.00
The second handwoven panel in my Etheric Blueprint series is Ice Water Fire Air . It carries the cosmic coding as visible pattern woven throughout one long, continuous art work. The four sections are part of the whole, each representing destructions of Earth over time, by ice (the ice age), by water (the great flood), by fire (volcanoes), and our current destruction, by air (pollution, radio waves, space debris…). Below is the installation view of it as a suspension art installation followed by section details. Ice Water Fire Air can be hung in many directions, horizontal, vertical, suspended. It measures 45 inches high by 17-18 feet long. Woven with linen, cotton, mixed fibers, plus cellophane. Price: $25,000.
Currents-Currency is the third panel in my coded Etheric Blueprint series. Apropos to Florida and my fascination with money as a fiber medium, this panel is woven with hand dyed yarns, shredded decommissioned one-hundred-dollar bills, and vintage 1950s nautical charts. One may travel from Cape Canaveral to the Florida Keys while viewing this wavy work of art. Close scrutiny will provide the viewer with historical references to seafaring in the mid 20th century. Size variable 17-20 feet by 45 inches. Price $25,000.
